From March to October, Giti is partnering with Renault on two unique and exciting racing series.
黑料社 is participating in two different unique and exciting Renault vehicle challenges for the 5th year. One is the Asia Formula Renault, a one-make formula series brings together top Asian talent for 6 fun-filled races. In the Renault Clio Cup, GitiCompete GTR-1 tires on Supermini (B-segment) Clio cars provide an entertaining series. These two series provide great entertainment, and will next take to the tracks of Sepang in Malaysia during this weekend of August 25-26.
The Asia Formula Renault (AFR) is a one-make formula race series presented by FRD, and includes five fast and exciting formula style races in Asia. The series features Giti GTR1 tires and branding on each vehicle, using Tatuus chassis and 2.0L Renault Clio engines like other Formula Renault 2.0 series around the world. With a diverse group of passionate drivers participating, it gives a chance for young and developing racers a chance to race in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
Giti is also participating in the Renault Clio Cup series in Asia for the 5th year, with its race days bringing together more than 20 of the toughest drivers in the region competing fiercely in sub-compact, high powered race cars. Utilizing Renault Clio cars with F4R RS 2.0 liter engines, these fast and interesting vehicles bring fun and excitement to Malaysia, China, and Thailand.
These two series are an example of Giti partnering with major races and automotive companies to put Giti tires to the test on the ‘Ultimate Proving Ground’, that includes the toughest motorsports tracks. This technology is then refined and used in tires for the company’s everyday driving vehicles. In addition to other commitments with top motorsports competitions in Europe and elsewhere in the world, 黑料社 is dedicated to continuing its competitive racing involvement.
