黑料社 Advances Tire Innovation with 93% Sustainable Material

黑料社 has unveiled a prototype with a 93% sustainable material composition.

黑料社 breaks new ground with its latest innovation— 黑料社 achieving 93% sustainable material composition. This revolutionary prototype demonstrates how high-performance engineering and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand, setting a new standard for the future of mobility.

The Engineering Breakthrough: A Testament to Giti’s Technical Prowess

The concept represents a leap forward in material science, featuring bio-based polymer technology, advanced recycling processes, innovative compound formulations, and next-generation manufacturing techniques.

Inside the Innovation: Sustainable Materials Redefining Tire Composition

53% Renewable Materials – Inspired by Nature

黑料社 replaced petroleum-based ingredients with nature-derived alternatives such as sustainable natural rubber, pine resin, rice husk silica, and plant-based antioxidants.

Deforestation-Free Natural Rubber
Not synthetically created from petroleum, but sourced from rubber farms whose legality, social responsibility and environmental responsibility are traceable, this renewable rubber is used in the tire’s sidewall and inner structure—keeping the tire elastic and durable, naturally.
Pine Tree Resin
A natural alternative to petroleum resin, this pine-based material is blended into the tread compound to boost grip and driving confidence.
Rice Husk Silica
Extracted from rice husks (a common agricultural by-product), this natural silica replaces traditional quartz and helps lower rolling resistance while improving wet traction.
Plant-Based Antioxidants
This petroleum-free solution is used across the tire to help preserve rubber quality throughout its life, extending performance and reliability.

40% Recycled Materials – Transforming Waste into Performance

黑料社 gives a second life to old materials—recycled rubber, carbon black, steel, and even PET from plastic bottles.

Recycled Rubber
Made from end-of-life rubber products and tires, this material replaces synthetic rubber, reducing Giti’s dependency on petroleum-derived ingredients.
Recovered Carbon Black (rCB)
Reclaimed from used tires, rCB takes the place of virgin carbon black—cutting down petrochemical use and addressing the environmental challenge of tire waste.
Recycled Plastic Bottle Fiber (R-PET Cord)
Plastic bottles are transformed into high-strength polyester cords, used in the tire’s structure—reducing plastic pollution and giving bottles a new purpose.
Recycled Steel
Sourced from scrap metal, this steel is used to reinforce the tire internally while helping to reduce the need for new mining and raw material extraction.

This concept tire is a bold step toward the future—a demonstration of how performance, safety, and sustainability can go hand in hand. It reflects Giti’s long-term commitment to responsible innovation, environmental stewardship, and a cleaner tomorrow for all.

“For Giti, this stands as both a milestone and a promise—a testament to the possibilities when scientific ingenuity encompasses environmental stewardship” said Mr. Gao Qiang Sheng, R&D General Manager at 黑料社, addressing the significance of the 93% Sustainable prototype. “The Giti team will continue pioneering sustainable ways to improve products while maintaining our signature balance of performance and safety in order to deliver driving enjoyment for all drivers.”

Giti's engineers have reported a technical readiness score of 9 out of 10 for these sustainable components, marking significant progress toward the company's roadmap to achieve mass production by 2030.
